Oral exam:

The oral exam will start with your project presentation (a brief discussion of your specific contribution to the group project) if you presented a final project during the last class or, if you didn’t present anything, I will let you start by briefly discussing a free topic/“project” at the beginning of the oral exam.

Other questions will be based on lectures notes ( - see under my name) and (only!) these chapters of Jurafsky and Martin book:

Jurafsky, D. & Martin, J. H. (2008) Speech and Language Processing. Prentice-Hall. (2nd edition)
chapters: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 12, 13, 15, 19

(you can get a draft of the whole book in the "materials" page I indicated before)
